Job Overview
The Atonne Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Human Resources Director to join Metal Components, LLC as a key member of the leadership team. This role plays a vital part in driving HR solutions and identifying workforce needs.
About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee the execution of human resources policies and programs, including recruitment and onboarding, training, and career development, employee relations, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Strategically partner with leadership to develop and implement retention, training & development, and compliance initiatives.
- Manage and direct the activities of the HR Generalist.
- Promote the company culture, mission, and vision.
- Create, improve, and help interpret policies and procedures.
- Monitor and oversee all recruitment-related activities from the requisition process to filling open positions and writing of offer letters.
- Manage all leaves including: FMLA, Short-Term Disability, bereavement, and unpaid leaves of absence.
- Lead and direct the safety program to reduce injury and days away.
- Analyze local labor & compensation trends, and develop initiatives to maintain competitiveness in the labor market.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyze, comprehend, and execute in a high-speed environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading and managing safety programs.
- Experience with handling workers compensation a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Compensation and Benefits
We are offering an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The position also comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
