- Animal care knowledge of domestic animals, including breeds, behavior, and handling techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with Shelter Buddy shelter software.
This role requires working in an animal shelter environment with exposure to detergents, cleaning products, and seasonal outdoor conditions. Must be competent handling dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Weekend work and occasional overtime required.
