Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive training, supervision, and mentorship to counselors, empowering them to excel in their roles and enhance their time management skills.
  • Develop and maintain efficient work schedules for counselors, ensuring adequate coverage throughout the week.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of clinical documentation and records, verifying accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate counselor performance through appraisals and actively participate in hiring and termination recommendations.
  • Contribute to program planning, development, and management initiatives.
  • Deliver direct counseling services when necessary, adhering to established privileges.
  • Collaborate with utilization review departments to ensure that provided services align with UR and managed care guidelines.
  • Foster strong communication and coordination with administrative, utilization review, admissions, and other clinical disciplines to facilitate seamless treatment delivery.
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and licensing standards.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse clinical teams to advance quality patient care and achieve program objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • LICSW or LMHC strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in an Addiction or Mental Health Treatment program.
  • Proven ability to apply current clinical best practices in addiction treatment.
  • Independent License, LICSW, LMHC preferred.
