Job Summary

Milestone is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Team Lead to provide clinical and administrative oversight of our Portland counseling team. This role focuses on the clinical development and professional growth of the team to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide guidance and support to substance use counselors, peers, interns, and trainees, including orientation, training, individual and group supervision, and performance evaluation.
  • Administrative Supervision: Oversee the administrative tasks of the Portland Services counseling staff.
  • Contract and Licensing Compliance: Ensure that all applicable contract and licensing requirements are met.
  • Electronic Health Record System: Participate in the implementation and use of our electronic health record system.
  • Motivational Interviewing: Participate in ongoing training and supervision in the Motivational Interviewing modality.
  • Program Evaluation: Participate in program evaluation activities to ensure the effectiveness of our services.
  • Community Relations: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies and promote community awareness of Milestone.
  • Staff Management: Schedule and attend staff and in-service training meetings, ensure adequate staffing coverage, and assist with recruitment, hiring, and training of staff and volunteers.
Requirements
  • Eligible independent practice license (e.g. LADC, LCPC, LCSW) with a strong background in substance use treatment.
  • Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience and State of Maine Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs, spend extended periods operating a desktop computer, and engage in physical activity such as walking, bending, and standing.

Compensation

The salary for this salaried position ranges from $65,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience.
