Business Analyst for Market Engagement

Job Overview

As a Business Analyst specializing in Market Engagement, you will be instrumental in supporting small business clients. Your main goal will be to assist these enterprises in recognizing and leveraging energy efficiency and cost-reduction incentives to enhance their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational assistance for the California Small Business Energy (SBE) portfolio.
  • Enhance program processes and project execution through the design and rollout of initiatives.
  • Address program-related inquiries and manage invoicing and administrative reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with client representatives to manage program leads effectively.
  • Track and monitor progress towards goals, documenting activities in program databases.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to questions from customers and client representatives.
  • Support and collaborate with team members, subcontractors, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with California utility energy efficiency programs.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency measures (e.g., LED lighting, HVAC controls, water-saving techniques).
  • Experience in program marketing, outreach, or project management is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Asana).
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and the capability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and making a positive environmental impact.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Training in project management or commercial energy management.
