Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech Perinatal to join our team at HCA HealthONE Women's Health Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, efficient care to our patients, utilizing your expertise in fetal and gynecological ultrasound principles.

Responsibilities
  • Apply fetal ultrasound principles to evaluate fetal anomalies and adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography.
  • Identify fetal and gynecological anomalies, such as CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdomen, abdomen wall, genitourinary, extremity placental, umbilical cord growth disturbance, and perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries.
  • Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestation service and operate General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with proficiency.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of the latest technology and maintain ultrasound logging records, including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amino reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound, and maintain professional relationships with other staff members, obstetric offices, and hospital personnel.
  • Exercise independent judgment when interpreting Biophysical Profiles designed to assess fetal well-being and alert physicians of potentially dangerous conditions.
  • Diagnose fetal weight disturbances based on fetal biometry and diagnose multiple fetal anomalies, reporting and demonstrating them to physicians.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Ultrasound required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • RDMS required; RDMS OB/GYN preferred.
