Job Title: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of perinatal ultrasound procedures to evaluate internal organs and vessels for the diagnosis of disease in utero.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and request accurate clinical histories as necessary for exams.
  • Review patient histories, determine proper selection of protocols, and explain examination methods to patients.
  • Assess patient status, complete diagnostic techniques/tests, and perform necessary interventions.
  • Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered.
  • Coordinate preparation of images/exams and documentation for physician partners.
  • Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
  • Meet patient, family, and multi-disciplinary team needs through effective communication, coordination, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (S) or ARDMS registry is required.
  • Health Care Provider Life Support certification is required.
  • One (1) year ultrasound experience is preferred.
  • Fetal Echo Certification is preferred.
