Key Responsibilities- Assist experienced plumbers and HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and efficient work.
- Handle and maintain tools, equipment, and materials used in plumbing and mechanical work, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, threading, and assembling pipes, fittings, and fixtures, and assist with the installation and servicing of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical problems, and assist with implementing effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the plumbing or mechanical trades, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, follow instructions from experienced professionals, and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
