Job Summary:

Grady Health System is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Access Representative. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient intake process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather accurate demographic information and verify third-party payer information
  • Schedule appointments and enter patient demographics into our system
  • Verify and post charges accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Calculate and collect patient payments, balancing and depositing daily collections
  • Perform multi-task clinic duties to optimize daily operations and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of college preferred
  • One or more years of customer service experience required
  • Experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, insurance, appointment scheduling, or directly related experience preferred
  • Accurate typing skills and knowledge of basic computer software, such as Word and Excel, required
  • CPAR Certification preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of Siemens INVISION/OAS Gold system or EPIC system preferred
