Compassionate Caregiver for Hospice Services

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver for our Hospice Services.
Salary Range: $20 - $30 per hour (dependent on experience)

The Caregiver, under the guidance and continuous supervision of a registered nurse, delivers personal direct patient care services as outlined in the Plan of Care on a daily basis.
- Communicates with the Executive Director or designated personnel after each patient visit regarding the patient's condition or living situation, adhering to the Care Management process as necessary.
- Assists with essential Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) during each patient interaction, including mobility, transfers, grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Performs necessary household tasks that are vital to the patient's health care at home, helping to prevent or delay the need for institutional care.
- Engages in the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan or process, identifying issues and reporting to the administrator as needed.
- Must possess reliable transportation.
- Successful completion of a competency evaluation prior to providing patient care.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation.
* WA: Must be registered or certified by the Washington Department of Health.
Skill Requirements
- Mature and capable of effectively managing the responsibilities of a caregiver in a hospice setting.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions promptly and accurately.
