Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Conflicts Analyst to join our team at White & Case. As a key member of our global conflicts team, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing conflicts requests, providing expert advice on conflicts issues, and supporting the development of our conflicts clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise fee earners on conflicts issues, including relevant bar rules and support the global rollout of our concierge model for conflicts clearance.
  • Perform all responsibilities of a Conflict Analyst position, including facilitating direct conflict clearances and resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with Partners, industry approval groups, and the GC team to determine the appropriateness of new business opportunities.
  • Facilitate special projects as a matter expert and provide comprehensive understanding of legal terminology.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry current events and provide assistance to Leadership as needed.
  • Review and communicate with General Counsel(s) for direction and guidance on special considerations.
  • Train and work with Analysts to facilitate direct conflict clearances and oversee special projects as a matter expert.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to enhance the skills of others and be familiar with multi-jurisdictional ethical regulations.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Experience at or currently employed at a mid-sized to large law firm required.
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma mandatory.
  • Conflicts experience preferred, international experience a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity, creative thinker, ability to see the big picture.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), strong time management skills, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Client service focus, flexible for overtime needs at short notice, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Team player, proactive, resourceful, and takes initiative.
  • Fluency in English.
