Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer - Cloud Expert to join our team at Trispoke managed services. As a Data Engineer - Cloud Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures on cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Data Pipelines: Design and develop efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to our enterprise data lake and data warehouse system in three regions on AWS.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with data architects, business SMEs, and data scientists to design and develop end-to-end data pipelines to meet fast-paced business needs across geographic regions.
- Manage Cloud Platforms: Serve as a system administrator to manage AWS and Databricks platforms, adhering to best practices for coding, testing, and designing reusable code/components.
- Explore New Technologies: Explore new tools and technologies to improve ETL platform performance and machine learning operations.
- Participate in Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings and provide estimations on technical implementation, collaborating and communicating effectively with product teams.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Software Engineering, or Associate's degree with 6 years of experience, or High school diploma with 8 years of experience.
- Skills: Familiarity with PySpark, data processing libraries, machine learning frameworks, and other machine learning libraries; experience with software development, end-to-end system design, data modeling, and SQL performance tuning.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with web development, software DevOps, CI/CD tools, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Tableau, and the Pharmaceutical industry.
