Counselor - Juvenile Pre-Adjudication - Juvenile Probation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Counselor to provide counseling services to residents in our juvenile justice facilities. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of one year of experience in counseling, social work, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling services to juvenile offenders.
- Conduct crisis counseling and suicide risk assessments for juveniles.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the behavioral health needs of juveniles.
- Collaborate with other professionals to discuss treatment, new resources, and techniques.
- Document counseling sessions and completed assessments in the prescribed manner.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Licensed through the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Master Social Worker.
- Ability to work more than 40 hours during the workweek when necessary.
