At SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care, we are seeking a Licensed Psychological Associate to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an LPA, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care to individuals with cognitive, developmental, or intellectual disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in learning and developmental psychology, with a minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges. Your expertise in behavioral intervention and program planning will enable you to design and implement effective treatment plans that promote positive outcomes.

As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with behavior analysts, therapists, social workers, counselors, and psychologists to deliver high-quality behavioral services. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals will be essential in ensuring seamless care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served
  • Communicate between supervisors, direct care staff members, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding an individual's progress
  • Provide a tentative schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations for to monitor work advancement
  • Coordinate home visits to meet the requirements of in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis
  • Ensure implementation of the program plan is effective and properly carried out
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings as required
  • Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes
  • Organize trainings to certify staff and other team members are competent on the implementation of the program plan and/or documentation sheets
  • Provide follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support of an individual's needs
  • Maintain records to guarantee information is readily available to interested parties
  • Act as liaison with the public and mental health community to provide support with development goals
  • Assist in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs for individuals

Qualifications:

  • Experience with behavioral intervention, and/or a strong educational emphasis on the principles of learning and developmental psychology
  • Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
