We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our Quality Improvement and Health Equity Transformation efforts at Health Plan of San Joaquin. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality of care and reduce health disparities in our member population.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Quality Improvement Initiatives: Design and implement programs to improve quality of care, reduce medical errors, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Lead Health Equity Efforts: Develop and implement strategies to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes for diverse populations.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including providers, community-based organizations, and regulatory agencies, to advance quality improvement and health equity goals.
- Develop and Manage Budgets: Oversee department budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead and Develop Teams: Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of quality improvement and health equity professionals.
- Medical Degree: Must have a medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of leading quality improvement and health equity initiatives.
- Clinical Experience: At least 5 years of clinical experience in a managed care setting, with expertise in developing and implementing quality improvement and health equity programs.
- Health Equity Experience: At least 3 years of experience developing and implementing health care diversity initiatives that address health equity and health disparities.
