Job Summary

This individual will contribute to our cutting-edge initiatives and report directly to the Chief Medical Officer.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Medical monitoring of Phase 1-2 mRNA CAR T-cell therapy clinical trials in multiple autoimmune disease indications.
  • Design and implementation of pharmacovigilance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Medical review, analysis, and interpretation of safety, efficacy, and PK and biomarker data.
  • Assistance with development of clinical trial documents, including protocols, ICFs, and clinical development plans.
  • Collaboration with external investigators and researchers to identify and support investigator-sponsored studies.

Requirements and Desired Experience:
  • MD (or equivalent) or MD-PhD degree required. Advanced degree or research experience in immunology preferred.
  • 5+ years of clinical research experience with 2+ years of industry experience in clinical development.
  • Specialty training in rheumatology and/or industry experience in clinical development of therapeutics in autoimmune diseases.
  • Proven ability to interpret and present efficacy and safety data.
  • Working knowledge of GCP/ICH, clinical trial design, and regulatory requirements.

At Cartesian Therapeutics, we offer a competitive salary range of $210,000 - $292,000 per year. We are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices.
