Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the overall production of events, including planning, communication, execution, and evaluation.
  2. Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders and coworkers to plan and produce events.
  3. Manage event details and logistics, including facilities, scheduling, refreshments, and technical requirements.
  4. Oversee internal and external communications for events, working closely with the Communications Manager to plan event-related communications.
  5. Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure successful event production.
  6. Manage event-related contracts and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  7. Establish, monitor, and manage event budgets in collaboration with the Community Engagement Director and stakeholders.
  8. Conduct post-event evaluation processes to gather feedback and improve future events.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of five years' experience in event planning or a related role.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication, project planning, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong technical skills using Word, Excel, and Outlook, with familiarity with PowerPoint and project management software.
  4. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact tactfully with others in high-pressure situations.
