Life Enrichment Assistant

At Bainbridge Senior Living, we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming home for our residents. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to our residents while meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Resident Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, including assisting with meals, creating a soothing dining experience, and serving meals. Work with care staff to help with serving and clean-up of meals. Assist with scheduled activities and programs, using dementia knowledge to engage all residents in movement, discussion, arts & crafts, musical events, outings, classes, and programs.
  2. Team Player: Communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership to ensure top-level care is provided while working together to problem-solve.
  3. Community Relations: Build strong relationships with employees, residents, and the broader community to create a supportive and inclusive living environment.
  4. Quality of Care: Ensure the highest quality of service is provided to residents while meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  5. Organizational Support and Professionalism: Follow all policies and procedures while supporting the organization's goals and values and remaining professional at all times.
Qualifications:
  1. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D) required; College degree preferred.
  2. Abilities: Highly proficient at reading, writing, and communicating in English. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Ability to sit for long periods of time and type at 60 WPM on average.
