Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiology/Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Radiology/Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, developing film, and preparing exam rooms for patients. You will also assist radiologists and nurses in ensuring that exams are performed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
- Develop film and prepare exam rooms for patients
- Assist radiologists and nurses in performing exams
- Ensure that exams are performed safely and efficiently
- Utilize principles of Continuous Quality Improvement to enhance patient care
- Current ARRT Texas License
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to read, write, and converse in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Dosimetry badge must be worn at all times
- Ability to evaluate and interpret information to make independent decisions
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, crouching, and lifting
