Radiologic Imaging Specialist

The Radiologic Imaging Specialist is a highly skilled professional who uses advanced computerized x-ray equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the human anatomy. This aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and disorders. Key responsibilities include performing X-rays, CT scans, and EKGs.
Requirements:
- Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment
- Strong interest in scientific and technical skills and knowledge
- Able to interact compassionately and effectively with patients
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Exact and precise
- Highly self-motivated
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- C.T. Tech certification preferred
