Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a leading healthcare provider in the Texas Panhandle, serving over 650,000 residents. Our system includes a 495-bed acute care hospital and numerous primary, specialty, and urgent care locations.

We are seeking a skilled Radiology/Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology/Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ionizing radiation-producing equipment, developing film using the PACS system, and ensuring equipment is in working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ionizing radiation-producing equipment under licensure from the Bureau of Radiation Control
  • Develop film using the PACS system
  • Prepare exam rooms and gather supplies for ordered exams
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and clean
  • Assist the Radiologist and nurses to ensure the correct exam is performed in a safe environment

Requirements:

  • Current ARRT Texas License
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English
  • Ability to communicate with patients, families, staff, physicians, support agencies, vendors, and others
