Catalyst Kids is a leading provider of early childhood education, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Teacher to join our team. As an Associate Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and implementation of our programs for children aged 5-13. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with our learning foundations and promotes positive child development
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of our children
  • Provide exceptional customer service by establishing strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure the health and safety of our children by maintaining a clean and safe environment, and reporting any incidents or concerns to management
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of our children and families

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

As an Associate Teacher, you will be required to:

  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability
  • Be comfortable with occasional loud noise and frequent bending, lifting, and carrying of objects
  • Be able to work in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor environments

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful as an Associate Teacher, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in a group care environment
  • Effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a professional team environment
  • Current adult and infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
