Job Opportunity: Saxophone Instructor

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated saxophone instructor to join our team at the Irvine School of Music. As a part-time saxophone teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire the next generation of musicians and contribute to our dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach private and group saxophone lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs and goals
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students to ensure a positive and productive learning experience
  • Participate in ongoing pedagogical training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and techniques
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Music or current enrollment in a music program
  • Ability to pass a Federal Background Check
  • Fluent in English
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Passionate about teaching and knowledgeable about reputable teaching methods
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching children ages 5 and up
  • Familiarity with both private and group classes
  • Ability to teach Jazz and Pop styles alongside Classical
  • Masters degree in your teaching area
