Job Opportunity

Are you a passionate music educator looking to inspire the next generation of musicians? The Irvine School of Music is seeking a qualified Voice Teacher to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Teach private and/or group voice lessons
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students
  • Assign homework and prepare students for recitals
  • Create engaging lesson plans
  • Attend student recitals and events
  • Participate in ongoing pedagogical training
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Music (or current enrollment in a music program)
  • Willingness to commute to Irvine
  • Ability to pass a Federal Background Check
  • Fluent in English
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Passionate about teaching and knowledgeable about reputable teaching methods
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching children ages 5 and up
  • Familiarity with both private and group classes
  • Ability to teach Jazz and Pop styles alongside Classical
  • Master's degree in your teaching area
