Human Resources Operations Director

As a key member of our Human Resources Operations team, you'll have the opportunity to drive our customer experience through strategic leadership and day-to-day functional oversight of the HR Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic leadership and day-to-day functional oversight of the HR Operations team, with focus on employee relations and investigations.
• Lead and guide efforts to create and/or continuously improve efficient, standardized, and scalable departmental processes and procedures.
• Partner with People Operations and Legal teams and department leaders on change management initiatives, especially as it relates to process enhancements and policy/procedure communications.
• Provide consultation, recommendations, hands-on support, and policy-based guidance to department leadership.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to effectively understand and interpret company policies as well as state and federal employment laws, and to provide guidance and support to leaders and team members related to these.
Requirements
• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources management experience.
• 5+ years of experience in leading people and teams.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws and government agencies and experience in driving/supporting compliance to these.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices and processes, specifically those noted in the position description, and the ability to stay up to date on emerging trends.
• Proven track record of effective strategic thinking, thought leadership, analytical decision making, large-scale prioritization, and continuous improvement, specifically within the human resources space.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining problems, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and delivering workable solutions.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to make complex decisions and handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
• History of effectively coaching across all levels and functions, including individuals in more senior roles than oneself.
