Position Title: Procurement Specialist

Overview:
United Health Services is currently in search of a Procurement Specialist to become a vital part of our Procurement department. This role is essential in managing the acquisition of equipment, supplies, and contracts, adhering to established purchasing protocols and management policies to ensure timely delivery in support of our healthcare system.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer the procurement processes for various items, ensuring compliance with prudent purchasing practices.
2. Develop and implement strategies that align with system objectives to control expenses, standardize products, and optimize utilization.
3. Collaborate with team members to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Associate's degree in Applied Science in business or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in procurement activities.
- Alternatively, ten (10) years of Supply Chain experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and experience in healthcare procurement.
