About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned and innovative senior public relations leader to spearhead our Unit 42 business's growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Earn top-tier media coverage that amplifies the reputation of Palo Alto Networks via the promotion of Unit 42 services and threat intelligence.
  • Develop and execute a PR strategy that builds the reputation for and visibility of Unit 42 offerings and threat intelligence, in conjunction with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key thought partner, architect, and builder for high-impact programs and processes that will take Unit 42 PR through its next phase of growth.
  • Effectively collaborate across the business, from partnership with executive communications and enabling regional PR, to building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Work and build strong relationships with top-tier media.
  • Establish ongoing metrics to measure success and pivot early and often.

Requirements:

  • Strong executive presence and ability to navigate complex and matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to build bridges across functions and regions, and deftly manage agencies and resources.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the cybersecurity landscape, with a vision on how to create an impact within it.
  • Skilled at taking complex information and molding it into impactful stories that pique the interest of the right audiences.
  • Strong track record of success in PR and communications.
