Director of Engineering Opportunity

This is a unique chance to lead our Engineering and Drafting Departments and contribute to the development of high-quality daylighting solutions for buildings worldwide.

As a seasoned Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and drafters, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Product Engineering and Drafting teams.
  • Oversee both new and existing product designs.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of error-free shop drawings and design packages.
  • Coordinate departmental efforts to support other teams, develop new products, and improve existing designs through efficient revision tracking.
  • Communicate project requirements and guide design adjustments with stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, technology, and best practices.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with building materials, curtain walls, windows, composites, or sandwich panels is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving, project management, and decision-making abilities.
