Job Description

The Graduate Programs Recruiter and Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting and managing various aspects of graduate-level academic programs at Aquinas College. This position involves recruiting new graduate students, overseeing administrative functions, collaborating with faculty, supporting student services, and ensuring smooth operations of graduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and engage prospective graduate students.
  • Schedule and facilitate employer visits, graduate college fairs, and career fairs to promote graduate programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming graduate program data, including student applications, transcripts, and test scores, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Assist with independent study courses, assessments, and documentation, as well as process student contracts and invoices.
  • Collaborate with the registrar's office, records department, and other stakeholders to coordinate graduate student commencement information.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, coordinate prospective student information sessions, and work with media services to promote graduate programs.
  • Support international students by providing guidance on student visa applications, coordinating documentation, and serving as the ELS University admissions contact.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the graduate programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience in higher education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and coordinate events.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment with interruptions.
