Teremana translates to 'spirit of the earth', combining the Latin word 'terra' (earth) and the Polynesian word 'mana' (spirit). This embodies our commitment to nurturing the land from which we source our agave, the meticulous process of crafting our tequila, and the relationships we build with our community.
Role Summary:
Teremana Tequila seeks a high-performing Brand Manager to propel this rapidly expanding brand towards sustained success. This role involves supporting the formulation of brand strategy and executing effective marketing initiatives across the Americas.
The Brand Manager will play a pivotal role in developing key quarterly initiatives, which include but are not limited to creative development, public relations/influencer campaigns, shopper and eCommerce strategies, and new product launches. This position requires analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, assessing strategies, and pinpointing new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager and VP of Marketing to refine and enhance brand strategy, ensuring a balance between strategic equity goals and commercial objectives.
- Assist in the creation of quarterly marketing programs for both above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) from conception to execution and measurement.
- Work alongside the external trade marketing team to develop all point-of-sale and merchandising materials from design to implementation.
- Contribute to the development of ATL initiatives in collaboration with the Digital Director and Social Media Manager.
- Engage in public relations efforts, including the formulation of the annual press strategy, from agency briefing to execution and assessment, aimed at generating exceptional earned media and comprehensive brand communications.
- Support the development and execution of sports sponsorship initiatives.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of trade advocacy programs.
- Oversee the annual budget to ensure accurate phasing, tracking, and reconciliation of marketing expenditures.
- Evaluate market performance utilizing data sources such as IRI, NABCA, VIP, and others.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
- 3-5 years of progressive brand management experience within the beverage/alcohol or consumer packaged goods sector, with a preference for spirits experience.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, including the ability to independently develop methodologies and execute analyses, adapt to feedback, and identify actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders, third-party agencies, and vendors.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, anticipating opportunities and devising actionable solutions.
- Bold and willing to tackle challenging problems that competitors may avoid.
- Thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with minimal structure.
- Commitment to problem-solving and adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Proficient in computer applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), with strong PowerPoint skills being essential. Experience with data sources such as IRI, NABCA, and VIP/iDig is advantageous.
