POSITION OVERVIEW
The Territory Sales Consultant plays a vital role in driving initial in-person presentations and facilitating move-ins within designated communities from assigned lead sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly respond to new inquiries through various communication channels, including after-hours responses.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of all leads in the CRM system, utilizing it as the primary source for lead interactions.
- Engage with leads consistently until a direct conversation or email exchange is established.
- Assess customer needs and collaborate with referral agencies to identify optimal solutions.
- Coordinate sales appointments for the community sales team, ensuring a schedule that accommodates the needs of residents and their families.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers until a smooth transition to the community sales team occurs.
- Pre-qualify potential customers to ensure sales efforts align with their urgency and suitability for the community.
- Anticipate and identify customer needs, actively engaging to gather insights and preferences.
- Conduct monthly visits to communities and provide support for on-site sales roles as needed.
- Propose solutions that align with customer needs, effectively addressing objections and negotiating favorable outcomes.
- Participate in weekly sales and marketing meetings, reporting on inquiries, appointments, and other sales activities.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity in representing the community.
- Keep an accurate and up-to-date database of contacts and activities in the CRM.
- Stay informed about relevant operational, competitive, and community information to effectively engage with residents, prospects, families, and the public.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Two to three years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Previous experience in a senior living sales environment is advantageous.
