Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working with the General Ledger and journal entries, as well as advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile activity within the general ledger (balance sheet and income statement accounts)
  • Ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Produce financial reports and schedules to support key stakeholders
  • Review and reconcile financial data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Perform monthly and annual closing processes
  • Run monthly reports
  • Responsible for journal entries, recording revenue, clearing accounts
  • Monitor bank account/cash flow, communicate with treasury
  • Responsible for daily accounting and validation of financial activity
  • Prepare standard reports on a routine basis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with general ledger and journal entries
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot table, vlookup)
