Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting and Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Mb Staffing Services LLC. As an integral part of our accounting department, this role will be responsible for performing routine accounting activities, including data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various account statements, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the accountant and senior management with general ledger, accounts receivable, and payable (AR/AP) and collections, balance sheet preparation, and financial reporting.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording AR data.
  • Process accounts and incoming payments for multiple projects, client invoicing, and budgeting.
  • Resolve any accounting-related issues/collections with clients and team members in a timely manner.
  • Professionally communicate with related parties, including clients and vendors.
  • Manage electronic timekeeping systems, generate and monitor timesheets, and create invoicing for weekly or monthly distribution.
  • Respond to information requests and assist with audits.
  • Analyze and summarize account information and trends.
  • Create spreadsheets and analytical documentation for financial presentations.
  • Follow and uphold company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience with a concentration in AR, collections, and timekeeping systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel, creating complex and analytical spreadsheets for reporting.
  • Ability to complete tasks with deadlines and possess strong integrity and ethics.
  • Strong experience with accounting software, QuickBooks online.
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment.
What We Offer

As an Accounting and Financial Operations Specialist at Mb Staffing Services LLC, you can expect a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
