Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Program Management Specialist with a focus on AI/ML applications tailored for internal IT frameworks. This role will collaborate closely with IT executives, product stakeholders, and various departments to ensure the effective execution of AI/ML projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing multiple high-complexity projects with significant visibility.
  • Defining project scope and managing change requests as necessary.
  • Leading project teams that may consist of both internal and external resources.
  • Working with product stakeholders and cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and gather detailed requirements.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive project plans encompassing all delivery phases.
  • Regularly updating stakeholders on project expectations, status, and risks.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet financial and milestone targets.
  • Providing guidance for Statement of Work preparation as needed.
  • Leading the development of new or emerging technology service offerings.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives and mentoring team members.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in shaping product vision and strategy.
  • 3+ years of experience in driving strategic initiatives in the AI/ML sector.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, including leading scrums and managing team resources.
  • Strong grasp of AI/ML technologies and software development practices.
  • Familiarity with the complete product and software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Deep understanding of user-centric design and customer needs.
  • Management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of IT concepts such as security, cloud computing, and disaster recovery.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • PMP Certification and/or Certified Scrum at Scale Practitioner (CSaSP) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) are ideal.

  • Experience in leading large-scale software implementations.
  • Ability to implement and work within Agile frameworks.
  • Proven capability to manage complex customer-facing projects.
  • Competence in tracking multiple projects and budgets, summarizing progress for stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset for minimizing project risks and issues.
  • Business acumen to correlate project success with business outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze project and financial data for optimizing success metrics.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in holding teams accountable for quality and timely delivery.
  • Understanding of cross-functional team dynamics and creative problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with various project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, PMP, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Certifications:

  • PMP Certification is preferred.
  • Certified Scrum at Scale Practitioner (CSaSP) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) is preferred.

Additional Information:

  • The estimated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, dependent on relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
