Key Responsibilities

As a Customs Brokerage Agent, you will:

  • Comprehend and apply the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedures to meet customer requirements.
  • Transfer customs declaration data from various documents into the customs entry system to create valid declarations.
  • Assist in verifying customs declaration details and submitting them to the appropriate customs authorities.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations at all times.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of customs brokerage processes and legislation, particularly regarding classification, valuation, and origin.
  • Knowledge of documentation processes for ocean, road, and air transport.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, organized approach.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Customs Brokerage Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager.
