Order Processing Coordinator

Position Summary:
The primary role of the Order Processing Coordinator is to support management in overseeing,
documenting, and managing the workflow of assembly schedules based on sales orders while assisting in inventory oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing Coordinator:
• Generate all work orders for assembly/sub-assembly based on sales orders and
warehouse inventory plans.
• Monitor and track work orders to ensure accurate creation, allocation, tracking, and
closure processes are adhered to.
• Develop work assignments for all sales orders by printing necessary paperwork based on
requirements and assignments.
• Allocate and oversee work assignments to team members according to orders.
• Conduct regular warehouse audits to ensure inventory and locations accurately reflect
system data.
• Address system-related issues concerning inventory based on team member assignment
completion.
• Collaborate closely with the team leader and General Manager to ensure stock levels are maintained and work assignments are fulfilled for shipments.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed to complete daily tasks.
• Work with the quality department on supplier returns to ensure accurate system entries.
• Run appointments by 2:30 PM each afternoon for the next day and communicate to
team members.
• Ensure the work area adheres to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as required.
Inventory Oversight:
• Collaborate with remote and on-site team members to investigate and resolve inventory
issues or discrepancies and research inventory transactions.
• Work with material handlers as necessary to verify received supplies for accuracy in
quantity and specifications, and perform cycle counting as needed to eliminate inventory
discrepancies.
• Compare information on purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notices to materials
received or issued to verify order accuracy.
• Perform other duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, and/or manufacturing environments.

Work Environment:
This position operates within a manufacturing setting. Most work occurs in an office environment, but there will be expectations to operate in the manufacturing area. The role may involve exposure to high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter for limited periods.
Physical/Mental Demands:
This position requires a high level of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while
meeting strict deadlines. The ability to perform tasks using standard office equipment such as computers, cell phones, and printers is necessary, along with the capacity to communicate and perform duties in an office environment. Lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and the ability to bend, sit, or stand are essential. Occasional driving may be required.
