About the Role

RiverWoods Exeter is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our maintenance and security teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance and Security Teams: Provide guidance and support to maintenance and security personnel to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Manage Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance: Oversee the work order system and ensure that all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Coordinate with Vendors and Contractors: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repairs are completed to a high standard.
  • Monitor and Control Expenses: Monitor and control expenses related to maintenance and security to ensure that we are operating within budget.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as 2 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.
  • Facilities Certification: Facilities certification is preferred, but not required.
  • OSHA/SDS/FEMA Experience: Experience with OSHA, SDS, and FEMA is preferred.
  • NFPA 101, CMS, and IBC & IECC Experience: Experience with NFPA 101, CMS, and IBC & IECC is preferred.
