Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory at a high level to track, forecast, and reconcile materials, ensuring effective inventory control to prevent shortages or overstock, and support production goals.
- Drive continuous improvement of production operations through the use of Lean Manufacturing tools and methods.
- Continuously evaluate production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, implement quality control procedures, and collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to integrate new products and technologies into production.
Requirements
- Academic bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management required.
- Several years (> 8 years) of incremental professional experience in a technical manufacturing operation.
- Previous supervisory experience required in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated analytical skills - financial and technical.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong applied understanding of LEAN and Six Sigma manufacturing principles; formal LEAN and Six Sigma training considered a definite plus.
- Energetic and strong manufacturing leader ready to bring the best out of every member of the team and with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve a vision.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Problem-solver with a keen eye for detail as well as a continuous improvement mindset.
