Job Summary

As a Senior Operations Manager at OSI USA Danvers, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production of high-volume components, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery to our customers. This role requires a strong leader who can coach and develop direct department leaders and indirect operator teams to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory at a high level to track, forecast, and reconcile materials, ensuring effective inventory control to prevent shortages or overstock, and support production goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement of production operations through the use of Lean Manufacturing tools and methods.
  • Continuously evaluate production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, implement quality control procedures, and collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to integrate new products and technologies into production.

Requirements
  • Academic bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management required.
  • Several years (> 8 years) of incremental professional experience in a technical manufacturing operation.
  • Previous supervisory experience required in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills - financial and technical.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong applied understanding of LEAN and Six Sigma manufacturing principles; formal LEAN and Six Sigma training considered a definite plus.
  • Energetic and strong manufacturing leader ready to bring the best out of every member of the team and with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve a vision.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Problem-solver with a keen eye for detail as well as a continuous improvement mindset.
