Job Title: Human Resource Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team at The Exeter Inn and Epoch Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, including PTO management, disciplinary actions, and wage administration.
  • Administer all insurance benefits to eligible employees, ensuring compliance with ACA regulations.
  • Support all departments in staffing and recruiting needs, including job postings, interviews, and new hire training.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure consistency and accuracy of associate performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Process and report all guest incidents and workers' compensation insurance claims, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Lead and execute quarterly all-hotel meetings and parties, manage the HR bulletin board, and assist in reward and recognition programs.
  • Manage all incoming cash received by associates, execute administrative duties of the General Cashier, and perform monthly audits of hotel banks and safes.
  • Responsible for issuance and reimbursement of petty cash to all hotel employees and managers, processing reimbursements, and preparing check requests.
  • Act as the hotel's income auditor, reviewing daily reports for errors and ensuring proper posting of all revenues and statistic information.
  • Respond to all payment system credit card chargeback requests and work with the FD Manager and/or Restaurant Manager to rectify.
  • Monitor year-end accounting, payroll, and HR assignments, and confidentially deliver all recurring accounting reports to Hay Creek accounting resources.
  • Administer payroll processing, maintenance of the time clock system, and adherence to all payroll policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and proven skills in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with web-based accounting systems.
  • Proven communication, leadership, and management skills.
  • Clean work habits with great attention to detail.
  • Able to furnish a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining calmness, composure, and hospitality.
