In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in guiding our team of Staff Accountants, nurturing client partnerships, and addressing complex business service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements to provide insights on performance
  • Creation and posting of journal entries while reconciling general ledger accounts for clients, adhering to accrual accounting principles
  • Support client management in developing budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with external CPA firms, serving as a liaison between business owners and accountants
  • Manage client invoicing and assist in collection processes
  • Oversee the transition of accounting functions to QuickBooks or suitable software
  • Assist clients with banking tasks, including bank deposits, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
  • Supervise DMS or client personnel as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree is mandatory; Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is essential
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment with a consistent ability to meet deadlines
  • Capability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Experience in payroll processing or familiarity with payroll reports is advantageous
