Shipyard Laborer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shipyard Laborer to join our team at LEAD Staffing. This role involves assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of marine facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Job DescriptionThis position requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb stairs to high locations, and work on scaffolding and ladders up to 12' high. The successful candidate will have experience with small hand and power tools, as well as a strong commitment to safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will be able to obtain clearance to work on Naval Bases and possess excellent communication skills. In addition, they must be able to assist in loading and unloading materials, setting up work areas, and providing support to installation and service teams as needed.
Responsibilities- Clean and prepare work sites for installation projects
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, machinery, and tools
- Set up work areas, including equipment
- Support installation and/or service teams as needed
- Rip out fiberglass insulation
- Ability to obtain clearance to work on Naval Bases
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Experience with small hand and power tools
- Strong commitment to safety protocols
