- Develop a deep understanding of our various systems and how they interact, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including creating detailed product roadmaps and timelines.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the performance marketing and affiliate networks space.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and improve user experience.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on product status and key metrics.
- Ensure that all product solutions comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Drive clarity and consistency in communication, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Maintain a high level of technical proficiency to lead complex projects and provide clear guidance to the engineering team.
- Document processes for operating products and train the Operations Team.
- Interface with key customer clients to understand their business needs and evolve the Connexity Publisher offering.
- Assess the impact of changes on downstream systems and ensure all affected business units are informed of any significant updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product management, preferably within the performance marketing or affiliate network industry.
- Strong technical background with experience in system integration and complex product ecosystems.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering successful products from concept to launch.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of current trends and technologies in performance marketing, affiliate networks, and digital advertising.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in gathering comprehensive requirements and securing stakeholder buy-in efficiently.
- B2B2C experience: You have built products for businesses and end users.
- Affiliate marketing familiarity: understanding of core affiliate marketing concepts including CPC vs CPA models.
- Experience working with publisher systems or similar platforms.
- Background in software development and program management is preferred.
- Comfortable working closely with engineering teams and engineering management.
- Technical skills including utilizing advanced SQL queries, python scripting, and basic understanding of coding principles.
