Clinical Data Specialist for Value-Based Care

We are seeking a Clinical Data Specialist to join our Population Management Methodology Groupers team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in clinical content development, specification, and maintenance of software modules related to Solventum's population health methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain clinical specifications for patient classification methodologies, including diagnostic, procedural, and medication codes
- Collaborate with research teams to drive enhancements to methodologies and translate clinical hypotheses into logical content specifications
- Work closely with technical, quality, and clinical teams to implement and evaluate clinical specifications
- Maintain process documentation for methodology updates using C&ER standards and methods
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., medical coding, reimbursement, CDI, research) and 5+ years' experience in the healthcare industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HIM credentials or clinical informatics background as it relates to claims data research, analysis, disease processes, and treatment
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and NDC coding skills
- Experience working with healthcare data, coding, billing, editing, and payment, particularly for inpatient claims and HIPAA requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and information through presenting and training clinical concepts, coding systems, and underlying design of patient classification methodologies
Solventum offers a competitive salary range of $106,331 - $129,960, depending on qualifications and experience.
