**Job Title:** Companion Care Specialist
Georgina Home Care is seeking a dedicated and caring Companion Care Specialist to provide personalized support and companionship to our clients. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises to improve overall well-being.
- Prepare meals and snacks to promote healthy eating habits and social interaction.
- Engage in conversations and activities that stimulate mental and emotional well-being.
- Accompany clients on outings and errands to ensure access to essential services.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a caregiver or companion is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for client visits.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping tasks and cooking skills is essential for maintaining a comfortable living space.
- The ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines is crucial for preventing accidents and ensuring a safe environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform daily tasks is required.
- A compassionate and respectful approach is essential for providing empathetic care and support.
