Job Overview:

Position Summary: The part-time role of the CCPD Grant Navigator involves supporting eligible 501(c)3 organizations in aligning their initiatives with the objectives of the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) as detailed in the grant Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to secure necessary funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in CCPD Pre-Proposal Training to provide insights into effective grant acquisition strategies, including grant application crafting, budget formulation, strategic planning, and program assessment.
  • Advise organizations on their responses to RFPs.
  • Offer assistance in the preparation of documents for submission.
  • Support the development of eligible programs and projects.
  • Address inquiries and concerns with CCPD personnel.
  • Assist in evaluating agency programs in accordance with RFP standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in grant writing and review processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage various tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
