Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote abstinence and sobriety.
- Conduct regular case management sessions, including education and training, to empower clients towards recovery.
- Collaborate with community providers to ensure seamless support services for clients.
- Participate in admission and discharge processes, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
- Provide transportation and ensure client and facility safety and security.
- Conduct substance abuse screenings and follow up with appropriate discipline.
- Model positive behavior and serve as a role model for the community.
- Supervise resident meal preparation, clean up, and daily chores, as needed.
- Maintain confidential progress notes and other documentation on client activity.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a commitment to pursuing an Associate Degree.
- Two years of experience working with substance abusers in a residential setting, preferred.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and a familiarity with Twelve Step Programs.
- Strong initiative, leadership, time management, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and keyboarding, with basic computer literacy.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
