About the Role

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Chair to lead our Radiology Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, education, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and vision for the Radiology Department, aligning with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a talented team of medical staff, ensuring a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Champion academic endeavors, quality of care, and departmental finances, working closely with provider finance services.
  • Lead the development of departmental resources, ensuring patient access to care and fostering a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery.
  • Collaborate with other clinical specialties to ensure comprehensive and innovative care for patients.
Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) required.
  • Current (or eligible for) license to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota.
  • Board certified in an ABMS recognized specialty.
  • Minimum 5 years administrative leadership experience at the institution, department, or section level.
  • Must hold or be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Minnesota.
