We are seeking a dedicated Eligibility Specialist III to join our Domestic Violence Liaison Division/AVENT Division.

  • Perform comprehensive interviews to assess ongoing financial eligibility.

  • Recognize and address special and urgent needs of clients.
  • Effectively manage a caseload by optimizing time management skills.

Essential Qualifications:

A minimum of 30 semester credits from an accredited college or university, or equivalent professional experience.

This role is available to qualified individuals with disabilities through the 55-a Program.

Employees of the City of New York may qualify for loan forgiveness initiatives.

Residency in New York City is required within 90 days of appointment.
