Position Overview

The Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive Pediatric Pulmonology program. This position emphasizes a commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Full-time, direct hire opportunity
  2. Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  3. Leadership in an expanding Pediatric Pulmonology program
  4. Primarily outpatient care with some inpatient duties
  5. Engagement in all facets of Pediatric Pulmonology, including research and educational initiatives for residents, fellows, and medical students
  6. Oversight of medical services in both outpatient and hospital settings
  7. Conducting research and contributing to national presentations, publications, and peer-reviewed journals
  8. On-call responsibilities: 1:2-3
  9. Utilization of Epic EMR system

Qualifications:

  1. Board Certification in Pediatric Pulmonology
  2. Valid medical license in California
  3. Graduation from an accredited medical institution
  4. A minimum of three years of relevant experience
