Club Maintenance Associate

The Club Maintenance Associate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment at our facilities. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and dust walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors of all areas of the club, including locker rooms, weight areas, cardio areas, office spaces, hallways, and stairs
  • Clean and dust all weight and cardio equipment
  • Restock supplies
  • Empty clubs' garbage and recycling containers
  • Complete daily and weekly scope of work as assigned
  • Perform special cleaning projects as assigned
  • Clean and maintain wet areas of the club, if applicable (cleaning pool deck, vacuuming pool, cleaning steam room and sauna, and conducting regular pool chemical testing)
  • Perform minor cosmetic repair on equipment (rust removal, touch-up paint, re-labeling, etc.)
  • Partner with the Facility Technician to perform cleaning duties on equipment as outlined in the preventative maintenance guide
  • Perform minor painting as approved/directed by the General Manager and Facilities Technician
  • Use all janitorial supplies in accordance with product labels and club manuals
  • Report all newly identified facility maintenance issues via Service Channel
  • Report any member complaints to the General Manager

Requirements:

  • Cleaning practices and procedures
  • Ability to understand and follow written instructions
  • Effective communication (verbal and writing skills)
  • Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of duties

Benefits:

24 Hour Fitness offers benefit programs designed to meet the diverse needs of all team members, including health coverage, as well as company-paid benefits that are automatically provided at no cost, such as group life and accident insurance.

There are eligibility requirements for each plan based on your position, hire date, and/or service date and your average hours worked.

Benefit-eligible team members may also accrue vacation hours. All 24 Hour Fitness team members, and their eligible dependents, receive a complimentary membership.

Compensation:

All employees receive a free club membership, employee assistance program (EAP), basic group life and AD&D insurance ($10,000), and a 401(k) savings and investment plan.

Average of 30 hours or more per week: medical/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, and sickness benefits (in addition to the above).

Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.

Pay Range: $18.03
